Hack My Scripts

Growing up, we obviously didn’t have Google or Bing. It was Ask Andy or Hints from Heloise, published in the Sunday paper, which helped with answers on everyday life. Today, it’s truTV’s Hack My Life to find simple solutions to mundane problems.

We have all heard the problem:

  • 32 million Americans on 5 or more scripts;
  • Half of patients take their scripts improperly.
Writing in Forbes, Sarah Hedgecock shows how a Little Pharma startup is taking on the problem of medication overload. They have a simple new hack to help patients take their meds.

PillPack, this New Hampshire startup pharmacy, is providing mail order scripts in clear daily pre-packaged doses printed with dates and times to administer. A smart phone app provides a backup reminder.

  • No more bottles;
  • No more trying to remember if I took it;
  • Auto mail order refills.
Changes are inevitable in the delivery of health services. Are your vendors ready to
embrace the hack?

Call us. We can do better.
