William V. Faris, J.D.

President and CEO

Bill Faris has designed and administered employee benefit programs since 1976. He has served as founder and CEO of medical and workers’ compensation third party administrators, general and specialty preferred provider organizations, and workers’ compensation managed care organizations. His companies have delivered services to thousands of employers in 46 states. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law and is a member of labor/employment law and workers compensation sections of the Louisville, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. Bill also serves as President of the Kentucky Workers’Compensation Education Association (KWCEA)

Rosalie Faris, R.N., B.S.N, C.C.M., COHN-S

Senior Vice President, Workers Compensation/Managed Care

In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Rosalie Faris is a Certified Case Manager and a Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist. She has l5 years hospital experience, having developed and managed out-patient surgery center, a hospital-based occupational medicine program, and broad experience in ADA consulting. Additionally, she designed, implemented and managed multi-state case management systems for workers’ compensation and group health applications.

Timothy P. Rooney

Mr. Rooney has more than 25 years in sales and marketing of employee benefit programs. Mr. Rooney previously served as Senior Vice President of Casco Bay Financial Services and as a Vice President of Sales for one of the nation’s largest third party administrators. During Mr. Rooney’s 25 years in the insurance business, he has consulted on more than 200 benefit plans representing over $60 million in premium.

He has performed in the capacity of national consultant for the International Tire and Rubber Association and developed a national franchise employee benefit program for one of the nation’s largest food service corporations. Mr. Rooney holds Life, Health, and Consultant Insurance licenses in numerous states as well as a Securities license. Mr. Rooney’s current business includes fully insured and self-funded clients. His expertise is in managing large self-funded medical plans, health savings accounts, and health care reimbursement arrangements with consultative services.

Richard K. Williams, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Richard Williams received a B.S. from the University of Kentucky and his C.P.A. certification in 1977. He served seven year in the audit department of a Big Five national CPA followed by 16 years as CFO and Administrator of two Kentucky self-insured workers’ compensation groups. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of CPAs.

 

John A. Logan, III, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. John Logan has served as Medical Director for OMCA since its inception. Since 1986, he has been the Medical Director of Community Methodist Hospital and past Medical Director for several Fortune 500 corporations. Dr. Logan received his BS from Western Kentucky University and Medical Degree from Vanderbilt. He is licensed in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.

 

Denise Weissrock

Director of Provider Relations

Denise Weissrock joined OMCA in 1996 as a Case Management Assistant. In this capacity, she assisted Nurse Case Managers and adjusters in all areas of workers’ compensation managed care. Since 2000, Denise has been the Director of Provider Relations. As Director she has supervised the contracts and credentialing of all OMCA physician and hospital networks under NCQA standards. In 2005 Denise assumed marketing responsibilities for OMCA. Prior to her employment with OMCA, Denise served as Administrator and Clinical Assistant for a large orthopedic practice and holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Jefferson Community College and medical training through Spencerian College.

 

Diana Eades, R.N.

CCM, LMR Director of Case Management

Diana Eades has been a Certified Case Manager since 1994 and has over twenty-five years of nursing experience in case management, occupational medicine, hand and microsurgery, orthopedic, and emergency medicine. She joined OMCA in 1993 as a Case Manager and became the Director of Case Management in 1998. As Director she is responsible for case management and utilization management product, staff, and delivery. Diana genuinely believes case management is, “the challenge to get all the pieces to fit together properly in order to get the injured worker back into the work place”.

 

Kim West

Manager Case Coordination

Kim West supervises the Utilization Review and EDI program for OMCA. She joined the company in 1994 as a workers’ compensation Case Coordinator and was promoted to Supervisor of the department in 1997. Kim is a licensed workers’ compensation adjuster and serves as OMCA’s liaison for many of the employers and TPA’s in our MCO and Claims Management Operation. Kim attended Seminole Community College majoring in Business Administration.

 

Kelly Colvin

Manager Medical Fee Audit

Kelly Colvin has served as Manager of Medical Bill Pricing and Coding since joining OMCA in 1988. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in managing and containing workers’ compensation medical costs on a nationwide basis. In addition, Kelly’s responsibilities have included reinsurance and excess insurance, reporting and compliance. Prior to her employment with OMCA, Kelly was employed by a statewide medical peer review organization. Kelly has attended Indiana University Southeast and earned her degree in Medical Technology.
