OMCA is a unique group of professionals who assist employers, carriers, third-party administrators and self-funded groups in managing their worker's compensation claims costs. As the first MCO approved in Kentucky, OMCA has remained a leader in providing innovative costs containment solutions.

Management Team

	William V. Faris, J.D. \| Speaking Engagement Information Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder WILLIAM.FARIS@OMCA.BIZ Bill Faris has been establishing and running companies in medical and workers' compensation third party administration, general and specialty preferred provider organizations, and workers' compensation managed care organizations for thirty years. He is an innovator and designed the first Kentucky-approved Managed Care Organization for workers' compensation. That same vision and innovation permeates OMCA in all facets of its services for stakeholders to achieve maximum efficiencies and cost control. Bill is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law, is a member of the labor/employment law and workers' compensation sections of the Louisville, Kentucky and American Bar Associations.
	Richard Williams, CPA Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder RICHARD.WILLIAMS@OMCA.BIZ Richard Williams has served as Chief Financial Officer since the company's founding. He is responsible for all financial aspects of OMCA; including regulatory compliance, cash management and internal controls. Prior to joining the company, Richard served as CEO and CFO of two group workers' compensation self insurance funds and was an Audit Manager with a Big 8 CPA firm. He earned a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and was licensed as a CPA in 1977.
	Rosalie Faris, R.N., CCM, COHN-S Sr. Vice President ROSALIE.FARIS@OMCA.BIZ In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Rosalie Faris is a Certified Case Manager and a Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist. She has 15-years hospital experience, having developed and managed hospital-based occupational medicine programs, and broad experience in ADA consulting. Rosalie designed, implemented and managed multi-state case management systems for workers' compensation applications.

John A. Logan, III, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. John Logan has served as Medical Director for OMCA since its inception. Since 1986, he has been the Medical Director of Community Methodist Hospital and past Medical Director for several Fortune 500 corporations. Dr. Logan received his BS from Western Kentucky University and Medical Degree from Vanderbilt. He is licensed in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.

Denise Weissrock

Denise Weissrock joined OMCA in 1996 as a Case Management Assistant. In this capacity, she assisted Nurse Case Managers and adjusters in all areas of workers' compensation managed care. Since 2000, Denise has been the Director of Provider Relations. As Director she has supervised the contracts and credentialing of all OMCA physician and hospital networks under NCQA standards. In 2005 Denise assumed marketing responsibilities for OMCA. Prior to her employment with OMCA, Denise served as Administrator and Clinical Assistant for a large orthopedic practice and holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Jefferson Community College and medical training through Spencerian College.

Diana Eades has been a Certified Case Manager since 1994 and has over twenty-five years of nursing experience in case management, occupational medicine, hand and microsurgery, orthopedic, and emergency medicine. She joined OMCA in 1993 as a Case Manager and became the Director of Case Management in 1998. As Director she is responsible for case management and utilization management product, staff, and delivery. Diana genuinely believes case management is, "the challenge to get all the pieces to fit together properly in order to get the injured worker back into the work place".

Kim West

Kim West supervises the Utilization Review and EDI program for OMCA. She joined the company in 1994 as a workers' compensation Case Coordinator and was promoted to Supervisor of the department in 1997. Kim is a licensed workers' compensation adjuster and serves as OMCA's liaison for many of the employers and TPA's in our MCO and Claims Management Operation. Kim attended Seminole Community College majoring in Business Administration.

Kelly Colvin

Kelly Colvin has served as Manager of Medical Bill Pricing and Coding since joining OMCA in 1988. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in managing and containing workers' compensation medical costs on a nationwide basis. In addition, Kelly's responsibilities have included reinsurance and excess insurance, reporting and compliance. Prior to her employment with OMCA, Kelly was employed by a statewide medical peer review organization. Kelly has attended Indiana University Southeast and earned her degree in Medical Technology.

Injured Worker

OMCA staff works with the injured worker to obtain prompt, effective medical care for treatment of the work injury. The Nurse Case Manager is a resource for the worker to obtain information regarding their injury, prescribed medications and proposed treatment. The Nurse Case Manager helps the worker successfully navigate the medical system to return to their pre-injury state of health.

Employer

The OMCA system assists the employer in reporting claims promptly, obtaining information regarding the work status of injured worker and identifying work duties that could allow the employee to return to work within medical restrictions. Those employers who enroll in the OMCA managed care system are assisted in selecting the network of medical providers from which the employee may choose, thereby reducing the opportunity for malingering by those few workers who may attempt to work the system.

Provider

OMCA works closely with the medical provider to get the employee the appropriate care at the appropriate level without delay. Unless there is an issue with compensability of the claim or relatedness of the procedure most pre-certs are approved with the initial phone call. Providers within the OMCA network have access to a provider relations representative who can assist them with questions related to claims filing and reimbursement questions.
