Pharmacy Network? What’s the big hubbub? What are your concerns? See if this one opens your eyes.

MyFoxNY.com reports on the arrest of two Bronx pharmacists who are accused of paying indigent AIDS patients to skip their meds. The pharmacy would then bill the insurer for the high-priced prescriptions. In one year, their take was estimated to be $10 million.

Six cars were confiscated during the arrest including a Maserati and Mercedes-Benz. No word on the health of the patients. They were left to fend for themselves.

If you don’t know your pharmacists, then know your Network Provider.
