Who knew? There is an organization called the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. And guess what — one of their roles is to accredit online drug stores. Recently they reviewed 10,275 online pharmacy sites and only 257 looked to be legitimate.
In a related story, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just shut down almost 1,700 websites in a crackdown against counterfeit drugs sold through the Internet.
The message isn’t just caveat emptor or buyer beware. Here’s the bottom line: just because it’s a blue diamond shape doesn’t mean it’s real Viagra!
Pharmaceuticals can be dangerous enough when prescribed and supervised by a physician. DIY script writing is a big mistake.
