Author Kerry Klecic posts a news story headlined “Internet addiction: A real problem in America?” The article concerns a 10-day program run by Dr. Kimberly Young as the nation’s first and only inpatient internet addiction center.
Apparently many young individuals see their lives spinning out of control with careers and relationships jeopardized by obsession with the internet.

This would be nothing more than an interesting news tidbit until you read Dr. Young’s quote: “Insurance companies aren’t covering internet addiction treatment YET” [emphasis added].
