The Feds are hot on the trail of KY based “pill mills”. A new indictment just came down in U.S. District Court regarding a Central KY combination Pain Clinic/Wellness Center/Weight Loss Center (that’s the trifecta for abuse potential).

It seems they have been open a little over a year and a half and have already prescribed 4 million pain pills. Money laundering is also part of the indictment. Apparently, these operators liked to convert cash into farmland, trucks, tractors and…the coup de grace…a $40,000 bass boat.

If you have ever seen the pond at the Blackburn Correctional Facility, you know these fellas won’t be fishing for smallmouth bass anytime soon.

The Feds are doing better.
