We Will Get Through This Together

I am working remotely from home just like my nurse case managers and many of you. This makes it convenient for me to tune in to Governor Andy Beshear’s daily press conferences. I am taking the Governor’s messages to heart, and I am confident “we will get through this together.”

I am linking to the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-277 dated April 9, and a subsequent guidance memorandum from Robert Swisher, Commissioner of the Department of Workers’ Claims. These directives speak to providing specific workers’ compensation coverage to select Kentuckians who “are at the risk of being exposed to or contracting COVID-19” because of the nature of their employment. These essential workers deserve our thanks for doing better during this state of emergency.
